While participation doesn't guarantee a job offer, the program aims to equip you with the skills and confidence to succeed with potential employers.
The DR JRP covers a structured curriculum including:
1) Visa Eligibility and Document Validation: Assisting with documentation and screening for skilled migration or employer-sponsored visas.
2) Skills Assessment: Aligning your qualifications with Australian job requirements through formal assessments.
3) Pastoral Care Program (Voluntary): A faith-based initiative to support integration into Australian life and communities.
4) CV Building: Guidance on creating a professional and compelling CV that meets Australian employer expectations.
5) Online Profile Building: Preparation for inclusion in Domain Recruitment’s Candidate Showcase App with multimedia profiles.
6) Interview Coaching & Preparation: Building confidence and communication skills, focusing on cultural differences for Australian interview settings.
Additional Resources & Requirements
As part of the program, we also facilitate our candidates to enroll in a series of highly recommended free online courses from the University of Tasmania's Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre and Equip Aged Care Learning Packages, designed to further enhance their knowledge and employability in the aged care sector.
A "Migration Toolbox" session provides comprehensive orientation on adjusting to life in Australia, covering language, culture, practicalities, transportation, healthcare, and community support.
The program concludes with a 400-word reflective essay and a mandatory multiple-choice exam.
